Inglis Easter Yearling Sale – Lot 445 Not a Single Doubt/My Prerogative Chestnut Filly

Lot 445 chestnut filly Not A Single Doubt – My Prerogative (I Am Invincible) $300,000 (draft: Arrowfield Stud)

A natural looking athlete, with a great eye, both her sire and dam sire are atop the General Sires’ list in Australia.

“She is a very elegant filly that looks like she will get up and go early,” said Te Akau principal David Ellis CNZM.

Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) is the current Leading Sire by earnings in Australia, and left progeny to win 19 Group One races among 150 stakes wins. Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) is inbred to immortal sire Northern Dancer.

She is out of a young mare by Champion Sire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), the sire of Brazen Beau, who sired Te Akau trained Karaka Million 2YO (Restricted Listed, 1200m) and Sires’ Produce Stakes (Gr. 1, 1400m) winner On the Bubbles.

My Prerogative has already left a full brother to the filly, Absolute Legend, who shows genuine attributes and looked good winning off the front over 1250 metres in N.S.W.

“She’s from a good family and we thought she was the best filly in the sale by Not A Single Doubt,” Ellis said.

“With him no longer serving, fillies like this are becoming rare commodities. We were thrilled to be able to secure her.

“She is from a fast family, full of black type winners, that included 2000 Guineas (Gr. 1, 1600m) winner Ugo Foscolo (Zacinto) who was the Top Male 3YO of his year in New Zealand.  So it’s family we can relate to in New Zealand.”

The filly carries a bloodline cross through her sire lines of Golden Slipper (Gr. 1, 1200m) winner Canny Lad, by speed sire Bletchingly.
