KARAKA 19 – Lot 462 Savabeel (AUS) – Tempo Manor (AUS), Bay Filly

Lot 462 b f Savabeel – Tempo Manor (General Nediym) $95,000 (draft: Westbury Stud)

“It’s a real speed family and she’s a short coupled filly that walked well with plenty of get up and go,” said David Ellis. “We really liked her as a Savabeel filly with plenty of speed and beautifully proportioned.”

“She’s out of a General Nediym mare that won three races in a row and has already left a two-year-old winner that was Group Three placed, so certainly proven and the second dam is by Danehill.”

Second dam, Lady Langham, left a very good horse in Ready to Rip (More Than Ready), who won over $600,000 among eight wins that included the Bletchingly Stakes (Gr. 3, 1200m) at Caulfield.

The filly has inbreeding to immortal sire Northern Dancer and world record breaking two-year-old sire Without Fear, while General Nediym, a really fast horse and star two-year-old, has developed into a good broodmare sire.
