Geegees Mistruth was entrusted to Te Akau Racing Australia in September 2025 after a stellar career in Tasmania where she won four stakes races - she had shown early on when winning her first four starts, that she had an abundance of talent.
After joining our Cranbourne stable she made a quick impact in October 2025 by finishing a very close second in both the A$300,000 Group 2 Caulfield Sprint over 1000m for rider Patrick Moloney. She followed this in early November with another gallant runner up placing in the A$240,000 Group 3 Rising Fast Stakes 1200m at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day with Craig Williams aboard.
Resuming in January 2026, she again collected further valuable black type when Ben Melham guided her to a close third in the A$175,000 Listed WJ Adams Stakes over 1000m at Caulfield.
Returning to Caulfield, Lady Luck deserted her for the A$750,000 Group 1 Oakleigh Plate 1100m when she was left in the gates with Michael Dee in the saddle, very disappointing for her connections.
Move forward to ANZAC Day 25 April 2026 and it was Geegee Mistruth's time to shine in the sun - claiming Group 1 glory in the A$1 million Robert Sangster Stakes over 1200m at Morphetville in Adelaide with Jordan Childs aboard.
Geegees Mistruth has raced 20 times with seven wins and seven placings, earning A$1,292,060 for her owner Elizabeth Geard Racing.
