Winner of $100,000 Group 2 Ford Wakefield Stakes at Trentham in January 2004, she also finished third in NZ's richest 2YO race, the $500,000 Mercedes Super Bonus Classique to boost her stakes earnings to $142,000. Kapsdan was the equal highest-rated 2YO filly in New Zealand on the 2003-04 Free Handicaps.
