1. Payment Terms:
a. All purchases of yearlings through the Te Akau Racing online Yearlings & Shares shop will incur credit card fees if you select credit card payment over invoice
b. Credit card fees will be on charged on your next month's account
c. For domestic credit cards (NZ), a fee of 2.7% + NZ$0.30 will be applied to the total purchase amount.
d. For international credit cards, a fee of 3.7% + NZ$0.30 will be applied to the total purchase amount.
e. Payments made through other methods, such as bank transfers, may be subject to different terms, and customers are encouraged to contact Te Akau Racing for details.

2. Confirmation of Share Purchase:
a. Upon successful completion of your share purchase, you will receive confirmation of your share via email – the team will be in touch with you within 24 hours of purchase.
b. The confirmation will include details of the yearling purchased, the share percentage acquired, and we will be in touch with relevant ownership information.
c. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to review the confirmation and contact Te Akau Racing promptly if any discrepancies are identified.

3. Disclosure Statement:
a. A disclosure statement for each horse is available on the Te Akau Racing website. Please view this below.
b. Following your purchase your personalised disclosure statement for the purchased yearling, please click on the provided link in the confirmation email.
c. The disclosure statement contains important information about the horse, ownership structure, and associated costs.
d. Purchasers are encouraged to carefully read the disclosure statement to understand the terms and conditions of their ownership.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy:
a. All sales are final once payment is processed.
b. In the event of exceptional circumstances, Te Akau Racing may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
c. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Te Akau Racing and will be subject to review and approval.
d. Please note that we use 'Stripe' as our payment system. All refunds are in accordance with Stripe's refund policy and will be credited to your payment method in approximately 5-10 business days once processed through Stripe, depending on your bank.

By making a purchase through the Te Akau Racing online shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
