2.55 p.m. R4 4 Rakuten (3 g Savabeel - Millililli) - Opie Bosson; was gelded after two thirds in November, running home in 34s, and closed strongly for second when trialling on 6 January at Cambridge. He has what it takes to threaten from barrier six in the $10,000 Maiden 1200 metres.
4.44 p.m. R7 4 Lucky Shark (3 g Darci Brahma -
Shamardal Luck) - Opie Bosson; broke through at his third start in the Maiden
1300 metres on 30 December at Taupo, and contests the $10,000 Rating 65 1600
metres. An athletic type, bred to appreciate stepping in distance, he rates a
top four chance with the right trip from barrier nine.
