Te Akau trackwork highlights - Friday 9 August - reverse direction -

 

Course Proper:

Building up toward the Group
2 Foxbridge Plate at Te Rapa next Saturday, Te Akau Shark (O Bosson)
looked good galloping over an easy 1000 metres, last 400 in 27.2.

Miss Scandinavia (C Burdan) and Meteoric Lass (A Jones) paired
up to gallop over 800 metres, last 600 in 38.4.

Quattro Katie (A Jones) and Folk Dress (C Burdan) galloped
over 800 metres in 54.6, last 200 in 12.5. Lethal (M McNab) and Equinox
(O Bosson) also worked over 800 metres and ran similar time.

Working in single file, In A Twinkling (M McNab), Sword Of Osman (O Bosson) and Prise De Fer (T Harris) all galloped nicely over 800 metres in 53.6, last 600 in 39.8, final 200 in 13.5.

No.2 Sand: 

Lilikoi (T Harris) worked along nicely at three quarter pace
over 800 metres

Fabulous Flight (O Bosson) and Golden Age (D Montes de Oca)
galloped over 800 metres, last 400 in 24.5. They were followed by Sizzler
(A Jones) who ran home in very similar time.

Racing at Ruakaka on Sunday, Romantic
Lady (T Harris) and Grand Ariana (J Kamaruddin) paired up to work at
three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.17.4, last 400 in 31, final 200 in
15.6.

Excitonic (O Bosson) and Enrichment (D Montes de Oca)
galloped nicely over 800 metres, last 400 in 24.9. They were followed by Te
Akau Dragon (D Miller) who ran home in similar time.

Vino Bella (O Bosson) was followed by Truly Remarkable (A
Jones) when working at three quarter pace over 800 metres.

Awareness (J Kamaruddin) and Ocean Belle (T Harris)
worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, last 400 in 30.
 Willpower (D Weatherley) and Ocean Star (R Alam) also
worked over 800 metres and ran similar times.

La Flora Belle (A Handley) and 2f Power - Game Duchess (D
Montes de Oca) looked good working at three quarter pace over 600 metres, last
400 in 31.

In single file, Burgundy
Rose (O Bosson) and Uber Roca (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace
over 800 metres, last 400 in 29.

Blitzabeel (J Kamaruddin) and Meritorious (T Harris)
galloped on their own over 800 metres, last 400 in 26.5.

Amalfitana (C Burdan) and Vicenza (D Montes de Oca)
galloped over an easy 800 metres, final 400 in 27. They were followed by 3f
I Am Invincible - Hurtle Myrtle (A Handley) who ran home in similar time.
