Te Akau track work Saturday July 20


Course proper (Slow):


Two-year-old Savabeel (Zabeel) gelding King Savinsky (Stack) showed to have trained on nicely since his debut run for fourth at Te Rapa. Working with Orinto (Demir), who also strips in good fashion following a fresh-up win on the same course, the pair came from the 1200 metres in 1:19, final 600m in 38.9. Both are scheduled to race again at the same venue next Saturday, July 27, at Te Rapa.


Three-quarter pace on the sand track:


Gunsmoke (Hazlett) worked nicely over 800 metres, Flying Solo (2 g Flying Spur - Daly Charm) (Hazlett) and 2 g Saperavi - Sweet Dreams Baby (Stack) went 600 metres, and working as a trio over 800 metres: Exabelle (Demir), Milan Miss (Stack) and Viana (Rizmaan). 


Three-quarter pace over 800 metres on the Two-Year-Old grass track (Slow):


Aspen (2 c Alamosa - Kirin Belle) (Stack) and Hardcore Rock (2 c Fastnet Rock - River Dreaming) (Demir), Costa Viva (2 f Encosta De Lago - Vivacious Spirit) (Rizmaan) and Ruthless Lady (2 f Keeper - Lady Dehere) (Stack), King's Rock (2 c Fastnet Rock - Nureyev's Girl) (Stack) and Rise ‘n' Shine (2 g Zabeel - Kay's Awake) (Demir).
