Course Proper: reverse direction

Preparing to race at Matamata next Wednesday, Shebringsmerubies
(S Weatherley) and Te Akau Dragon (M McNab) galloped over an easy 1000
metres, last 800 in 52.5, final 600 in 39.

Due to line up in the $25,000 Rating 72 1300 metres at
Awapuni on Saturday, Meteoric Lass (J Kamaruddin) worked at three
quarter pace over 1000 metres, running the last 800 in 55.7.

Super Sid (M McNab) and Lucky Shark (C Burdan) paired up to gallop over an easy 1000 metres, running the final 800 in 51.7. Depending on track conditions, both horses will race at Matamata or Taupo next week.

No.2 Sand: thick fog prevented some times being taken

Group 1 Tarzino Trophy winner Melody Belle (T Harris)
worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.28.5. She is on track to
race next in the Group 1 Windsor Park Plate (at Hastings on 21 September).

Racing at Matamata or Taupo next week, Shezathinka (J
Kamaruddin) and O'Pristine (R Cole) worked (separately) at three quarter
pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.

In A Twinkling (M McNab) worked at three quarter pace
over 1400 metres in 1.39.

Racing in the Listed Northland Breeders Stakes at Ruakaka on
Saturday, Aotea Lad (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000
metres in 1.13.5.

Also racing at Ruakaka on Saturday, Ronaldo's Dream (S Weatherley) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14.6 and Scottish Star (M Roustoby) finished off in 1.13.7.

Excitonic (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter
pace over 1000 metres in 1.15.7.

Starting next at Hastings on 21 September, Burgundy Belle (T Harris) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16.

Rhapsody In Blue (S Weatherley) worked at three
quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13.8, home in 43. Ritzy Sparkle (J
Kamaruddin) is due to line up at Ruakaka on Saturday and also worked over 1000
metres, running similar times.

Oceans Eight (D Montes de Oca) worked at three
quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 47.

Hierarchy (M Roustoby) worked at three quarter pace
over 1000 metres in 1.15.8, home in 44.5.

Also in at Ruakaka, Mazzuro (M McNab) worked at three
quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.28, final 600 in 44.

Racing at Ruakaka, Savy Yong Blonk (T Harris) worked
at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.12, home in 42. Zareeba (J
Kamaruddin) also worked over 1000 metres and ran similar times.

Prise De Fer (M McNab) worked on his own at three
quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, final 600 in 45.2. Duck Road (C
Burdan) races at Ruakaka and also worked over 1000 metres, running similar
times.

pace over 1000 metres in 1.14, last 600 in 44.3.

Luminous (M McNab) worked on her own at three quarter
pace over 1200 metres in 1.30.5, home in 44.4.

Grand Ariana (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter
pace over 1200 metres in 1.27.8, final 600 in 43.
