Te Akau track work Tuesday June 25

Fog prevented timing.

Sand track:

Over a mile, quickening from the 600 metres, Prospero (Miller) and Sneaky Feelings (Cameron) worked well. The likelihood of improving track conditions for the local meeting on Monday July 1 at Matamata, has these two scheduled for the Benchmark 65 2000 metres and Maiden 1600 metres, respectively.

Rapid Gain (Cameron) tracked Fast Fiction (Miller), at an interval, over 800 metres at three-quarter pace. Rapid Gain is scheduled to resume in the Maiden 1200 metres at Matamata, and a recent winner on debut by five lengths, three-year-old Fastnet Rock (Danehill) gelding Fast Fiction is scheduled to venture south for the Special Conditions 1200 metres on Saturday July 13 at Trentham.

Pride and Passion (Cameron) was reported to have worked strongly when going solo over 800 metres at three-quarter pace, in preparation for her second-up run in the Maiden 1200 metres for fillies and mares on Wednesday July 3 at Te Rapa.

Orinto (Miller) was also reported by the rider to have worked nicely on the bridle over 1000 metres at three-quarter pace, and following a freshen-up is being readied for the Maiden 1400 metres for fillies and mares on Wednesday July 3 at Te Rapa.
