Te Akau TV - Friday - Sunday Preview

Te Akau TV is back again with our premiership leading trainer Jamie Richards and host Louis Herman-Watt! 

It's been a massive week since last Saturday saw Jamie and the team notch 6 winners in a day at Riccarton (5 on NZ Cup Day) and Tauranga (1) before heading back up north to partner David at the New Zealand Bloodstock Ready To Run sales where we bought some stunning prospects.

We don't slow down from here though with runners at New Plymouth Raceway this afternoon before a team embarks on Pukekohe Park Raceway & Awapuni Racing & Function Centre respectively tomorrow.

Savy Yong Blonk looks to be a great chance in the Gr 3 Counties Cup but she'll have to get over top over her stablemate In A Twinking who defends his title from a year ago. Quattro Quinta lines up in the 2 year old stakes' race there also and you might find Jamie thinks this could be his best of the weekend.. 

Weaponry finds himself in a very strong open handicap race at Awapuni on Saturday but can be competitive and in the last Mai Tai hopefully gets some better conditions to continue on her promising galloping career.

We're blown away by the support we've had this week after a huge effort last weekend. The interest in our new additions from the Ready To Run sale has been as strong as ever too which is just a testament to the effort the whole team is putting in across the board as well as the exceptional quality of horses David is buying.
