Te Akau TV - Karaka Million Preview

Welcome to a blockbuster edition of Te Akau TV for the 2023 Karaka Million.

 

This week, we're joined by the trainer who has recorded the fastest 100 wins in NZ racing history. Mark Walker talks us through the team's recent accomplishments including a great weekend at Trentham with Belle En Rouge and Belle of the Ball delivering the quinella in the Group 3 Anniversary Handicap and Cognito taking out the Group 2 Wellington Guineas.

 

Mark then covers off the team's chances at Trentham on Saturday before providing insight into each of our 19 runners at Pukekohe Park for the Karaka Million meeting.

We also have a host of top chances in the supporting races including last start Group 1 Railway winner and last season's Champion 3YO Imperatriz - she takes her place in the Group 2 Westbury Classic.

 

We've rung around the ground this week and provided a best bet from some of our team. This includes Mark Walker, Reece Trumper, Hunter Durrant, Karyn Fenton-Ellis MNZM, Scott Lucock, Nicole Shailer, David Ellis CNZM and Julia-Rose Ellis.
