Te Akau TV - Weekend Preview

Welcome back to Te Akau TV as our premiership leading trainer Jamie Richards and host Louis Herman-Watt catch up to take a look at this weekend's runners! 

Our team has a great cohort of chances this Saturday at both Counties Racing Club and Awapuni Racing & Function Centre where both clubs have strong fields lining up.At Counties, In A Twinkling and Te Akau Caliburn give us a dual attack on the Haunui Farm Karaka Classic over the mile and we'll see Mai Tai and Weaponry go around in competitive races also.

Further down the North Island at Awapuni we have another awesome foursome ready to tear into the action with Rhapsody In Blue, Star Of Bombay, Bak Da Master & Aromatic all ready to represent the Tangerine with distinction.

This time next week we will be gearing up to a massive weekend with the 2000 Guineas at Riccarton and the Mackinnon Stakes across the ditch at Flemington. They're two Group Ones we'd love nothing more to take home with us and both Need I Say More and Melody Belle respectively are going to give us superb chances to do so!
