Te Akau track work highlights - Saturday 13 April -









Course proper:





On track to race at Matamata on Wednesday, Qian Gua(D Miller) and Willpower (C Burdan) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.07, final 600 in 36.9.





Also preparing to race at Matamata on Wednesday; Lady Zeraph (J Kamaruddin) and Folk Dress (R Hutchings) galloped over 800 metres in 49, last 600 in 35.7. Duck Road (C Burdan) galloped on his own over an easy 1000 metres in 1.09.3, last 600 in 39.5. English Rose (A Jones) galloped in company over 1000 metres in 1.05, home in 35.9.





Qiji Crystal (R Hutchings) and Scottish Star (A Jones) galloped nicely over 1000 metres in 1.06, final 600 in 36. Qiji Crystal aims toward racing at Matamata on Wednesday while Scottish Star will race at Woodville the following day. 





Pencilled in for the Maiden 1200 metres at Woodville next Thursday, Dolce Amore (A Jones) and Top Brass (R Hutchings) galloped over 1000 metres in 1.08, home in 38.





Louis Luck (D Miller) and Conclusion (C Burdan) galloped nicely over 800 metres in 53, home in 38. Louis Luck will race in the 2YO 1000 metres at Matamata next Wednesday.






No. 2 Sand:





Al Haram (M Grylls) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.30.8, home in 45.8.





Pacific Coast (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.12, last 600 in 42.





Bojangles (A Handley) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 42.2.





Richard Of Yorke (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.18, final 600 in 45.7.





Ristretto (J Kamaruddin) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.13, last 600 in 42.7.





Mongolianconqueror (D Miller) worked at three quarter pace over 1200 metres in 1.30.1, last 600 in 43.5.





Remington (C Burdan) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.18, home in 46.6.





Dundeel's Girl (A White) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, last 600 in 45.5.





Cicciolina (R Hutchings) worked at three quarter pace over 1000 metres in 1.16, home in 44.5.





Irish Heart (A Jones) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1 minute, final 600 in 44.2.





Spirit Of Galway (D Montes de Oca) worked at three quarter pace over 800 metres in 1.01, last 600 in 44.5.






Working in the reverse direction yesterday morning:





Byzantine (D Montes de Oca) and So You Said (R Hutchings) galloped over 800 metres, running the last 400 in 25.





Bak Da Master (D Miller) galloped on his own over 1000 metres, home in 25.5.





Vino Bella (A Jones) and Jakkabella (J Kamaruddin) looked good working at three quarter pace over 800 metres, last 400 in 31.
