Te Akau principal David Ellis CNZM purchased his top lot on Day One by reigning Australia Champion Sire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), the sire of stable headline act and eight-time Group One winner Imperatriz.

The colt is a half-brother to two-year-old Group One winner Seabrook (Hinchinbrook), while stakes winning third dam Tennessee Midnight (Danehill) has left a Group One and Group Two winner.

Adding to the impressive bloodlines, dam sire Don Eduardo (Zabeel) was the highest priced yearling to sell at Karaka, when making $3.6m in 2000.

He won the AJC Derby (Gr. 1, 2400m) and as a dam sire includes reigning Champion Middle Distance horse Prowess (Proisir).

The colt carries a bloodline cross to dominant sire influences Danzig, Sir Ivor, and Bletchingly.
